The Guest Room bedroom 

A large private bedroom and bathroom with your own separate entrance through the shared kitchen. Double bed and sleeper couch. There is a kettle, tea, coffee, sugar and rusks available. A bar fridge is in your entrance area, for your convenience.

It is self-catering. You are welcome to use the kitchen. There is cutlery and crockery specifically for guests. the pots, pans and cooking utensils are shared with the hostess (Sue Clarke)

There is self check-in and you will be given the details of how to access your keys a few days before your arrival.

Free wifi is available, a desk and chair if you need to catch up on work. There are a few books for your reading pleasure and a deck of cards  No TV or Game console.

Safe parking on premises. Please note that my gate has a virtual key. You will need to download the Nold app on your Smart phone. I have a long, steep driveway. There is ample space at the bottom to turn.

Dog and cat on the premises.

The neighbourhood is quiet and close to shops.The neighbourhood is generally quiet, surrounded by trees. Yet, it is close enough to main roads to be easily accessible. There is a public swimming pool which is very close. Entrance is free early morning and early evening. During the day it is R7 per person.
Shops close by include takeaways (KFC, Some Like It Hot {curry}, fish and chips, Pizza); a convenience store for your basic self catering needs.
A brisk 20 minute walk will take you to Swapo Road which is the commercial hub of Durban North. Here you will find a health store, barber, banks, Spar, Woolworths, church (Methodist and Catholic), hairdresser and more.

It is best to have your own transport if you wish to go to the beach, Moses Mabhida Stadium, uShaka Marine World etc as it is between 7 minutes and 20 minutes to drive to these places.
